May 26th:


6:00-7:00pm: Easton Area High School Jazz Ensemble

Easton Area High School Jazz Ensemble: The elite twenty-five members of the Easton Area High School Jazz Ensemble audition in late fall each year. Past groups have toured Germany, Denmark, Washington, Boston, New York, and the Baltimore Area. In addition, the ensemble has a "sister" relationship with the "Altes Gymnasium" in Flensburg, Germany. The ensemble performed and visited Flensburg most recently in May of 2016. Past ensembles have played with major jazz artists such as the late Maynard Ferguson, the late Grover Washington Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Buddy Childers, Vaughn Nark, Dennis DiBlasio, and Matt Neiss and Neil Wetzel. The ensemble is an extra curricular ensemble and rehearses after school and evenings during the winter and spring months. Hailing from Phillipsburg, New Jersey, Pentley Holmes is a driven, passionate and charismatic performer strong with a unique magnetism and incredibly soulful vocals.
